Editorial Policy

Blush Pantry's guides are written by the Blush Pantry editorial team. This page explains how we research, write and update them, and how we choose the products we sell.

How we research

  • We base guides on published research, official bodies (such as the FDA, the American Academy of Dermatology, the ADA and the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety) and each brand's own published ingredient lists and directions.
  • Every guide that cites a study or rule lists its sources at the end, with links to the pages we used.
  • We do not invent numbers, test results or reviews. When the evidence is limited or mixed, we say so.

What we don't do

  • We don't make medical claims. Our guides are general information, not medical advice. Talk to your doctor, dentist or dermatologist about health questions.
  • We don't hand-test every product. Comparison tables are built from each brand's published details and our current prices, and say so.
  • We don't publish fake or copied reviews.

How we choose products

Every product we stock has to pass our standards: a real brand, a published ingredient list, no reviews or positive reviews only, and a fair price. Products that stop meeting them are removed.

How we make money

We earn money when you buy products from our store. Guides and comparison tables only include products we stock and that meet our standards.

Updates and corrections

Guides show the date they were last updated. We review prices and stock in comparison tables regularly and update guides when research or our range changes. If you spot an error, email support@blushpantry.com and we'll check it and correct it.
