Collection: Organic lip balm

Certified organic lip balms from clean beauty brands.

Choosing an organic lip balm

A good lip balm does two jobs: it softens with plant oils or fats, and it seals moisture in with a wax or butter so lips don't dry out again an hour later. Organic balms keep that formula short and recognizable, which is why they are a popular first switch for people moving to cleaner products.

The balms we stock

Tallow balms are made with rendered beef fat, so they are not vegan. If you want a plant-based option, choose the Poofy Organics balms.

Lip care tips

  • Apply before bed and before going out in cold or wind.
  • Lip balm on its own is not sun protection. On sunny days, use a lip product that lists an SPF.
  • Licking your lips makes dryness worse, so keep a balm close by instead.
