Collection: Toothpaste Tablets

Plastic-free toothpaste tablets from Kaylaan and Tidalove, in mint, cinnamon, strawberry, watermelon and neem, with refills and starter kits.

How toothpaste tablets work

Toothpaste tablets are dry, pressed toothpaste. Chew one tablet until it breaks into a paste, then brush with a wet toothbrush as usual. Because there is no water in the formula, they come in glass jars, tins or paper refills instead of plastic tubes, and they are easy to pack for travel.

Every tablet in this collection is fluoride-free, and many use hydroxyapatite. The American Dental Association recommends fluoride toothpaste for cavity protection, so if you have a high cavity risk, ask your dentist whether a fluoride-free tablet suits you.

Questions

How do you use toothpaste tablets?

Pop one tablet in your mouth, chew it into a paste, then brush with a wet toothbrush for two minutes and rinse.

Are toothpaste tablets better than toothpaste?

They clean like paste. The main differences are packaging (no plastic tube), portability and pre-measured doses.

Do toothpaste tablets have fluoride?

Some brands make fluoride versions, but every tablet we stock is fluoride-free. Check each label for the active ingredients.

How long does a jar last?

One tablet per brushing, so a 60-tablet jar lasts about a month when brushing twice a day.
